Hungary's handball team arrives in Cairo to participate in the World Cup


Cairo International Airport received, this evening, Wednesday, the delegation of the Hungarian national handball team, to participate in the Handball World Cup, which began today and ends on January 31, amid strict precautionary measures to confront the spread of the new Corona virus.

Informed sources at Cairo Airport said that Terminal 4 at the airport has been designated to end the procedures for the arrival of the teams participating in the tournament, as well as the delegations and guests participating, in the global event hosted by Cairo in light of exceptional circumstances due to the spread of the Corona pandemic

The sources indicated that teams at the highest level of public relations were formed at the Cairo Air Port Company, headed by Dr. Tariq Ismail, Director General of Public Relations at the Cairo Air Port Company, to deal with the guests of Egypt participating in this global event, based on the directives of the Minister of Civil Aviation Pilot Muhammad Manar Enabah, under the supervision of Eng. Saeed Mahrous, President of the Holding Company for Airports and Air Navigation, and accountant Magdy Ishaq, head of the Cairo Air Port Company, in cooperation with the Ministry of Youth and Sports, and the Ministry of Interior represented by the Security Directorate of Cairo Airport.

The sources said that sterile buses have been allocated to transport the teams participating in the tournament, from Cairo airport upon the arrival of their plane, as entry of these buses will be organized from Chapter 35 dedicated to goods and bodies, to bring the players from on board the plane and transport them from inside the helipad to Hall 4 designated for flights. Private and receiving missions participating in the tournament, to complete all arrival procedures and their luggage.
