Reports: The African Super Cup between Al-Ahly and the Burkan Renaissance, on May 28 in Qatar

Press reports revealed that the Confederation of African Football (CAF) has set next May 28 as the date for the African Super League match, which will bring together the African Champions League champions Al-Ahly with the Moroccan club, Nahdet Berkane, the Confederation champions in Qatar.

The Qatari website "Doha Stadium" stated that CAF decided to hold the African Super match between Al-Ahly and its counterpart, the Moroccan team, Nahdet Berkane, on May 28, at the "Education City" stadium, which hosted the matches of the Red Genie in front of the Duhail and Palmeiras Brazilian teams in the last FIFA Club World Cup, which happened. The Red Devils are on the third place.

Al-Ahly won the African Champions League title last season for the ninth time in its history after beating its traditional rival Zamalek with a score of 2-1 last November, while Nahdet Borkan won the Confederation title at the expense of the Pyramids team with a clean goal.

The Confederation of African Football (CAF) signed a contract with the Qatari Federation for the Game to host the African Super Match for a period of 3 years starting from 2018, and indeed the 2018 edition was held between Moroccan Raja and Tunisian Esperance there and crowned by Moroccans, then the 2019 version between Zamalek and Tarji and the White Knight settled, and the 2020 version will be the last. In Qatar, it will bring together Al-Ahly and Burkan Renaissance.
